As the season is changing on this warm Los Angeles day I sit and reflect on how the seasons affect us in some way or another. Some of us including myself like to bring the seasons into our home with color by using decorative pieces or bringing home fresh flowers. I love going to the farmer's market on Saturday to pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers to add a splash of color and a smile to my face. With Sunflowers & Marigolds in season right now I find that the yellow and orange colors brighten my home. We recently worked on a custom piece for a client that brought me to the fall season. The hue of the natural wood was brought about by a clear coat that gave it a golden color. Its warm color made me think of the fall leaves and the many different shades of orange. What gets you into the fall spirit?
